The Sniper is hired to kill Bond. Bond does intercept this in time to get his full arsenal ready.

Bond knows a sniper is there? He just pulls out the nanosuit and goes invisible when he gets close, finds his heat signature and shoots him back

God I love Game Bond. He has the most ridiculous gadgets
 
Oh crud. Didn't think about invisibility.... oof. Dang. Was hoping it was closer. But valid point. One for James.
