Hyperion (Idling to Rule the Gods)'s light gets a statement that gives it more abilities. Chapter 13-1 has this statement...

In the world where I was born, it would have sounded weird to buy light...

The light in this universe was also a bit different. It was similar to how electricity had been. Depending on how you used it, it could illuminate an area, turn into fire and burn everything it touched, or power up a device.

This explicitly applies to Hyperion's light, as the protagonist is talking about buying light from him.

I believe this would grant Fire Manipulation and Energy Projection.

While this should apply to all characters that can create/manipulate light in the verse, the only one with a profile is Hyperion.

For being able to power devices, similar to electricity.

Ah, then it seems more like energy projection than energy Manipulation manipulation.

idk, it's not so much used for destructive blasts. In the text surrounding that quote, the protagonist mentions light being able to turn aura balls (more explicit energy projection) into batteries, which were then used as fuel for a spaceship.

I still think it's energy projection, just slightly different than usual blasts
