This accepted 9-A calc is still on Deadpool's profile for durability despite his AP/durability supposedly only being 9-B+. Is the calc still good or no?

No staff have voted here (though I'll try reaching out to some), though honestly I lean in favor of Option A, which changes all the 9-B+ to Baseline 9-A, since 1.6 is a much better gap for downscaling than making it an unknown value of 9-B.So what should we do here?![]()
Well since we have this rule now:What do you think that we should do here?![]()
They'd just be "At most 9-A" since they're over the 1.2x upscaling/downscaling statistic. It's possible for a character depicted as vastly superior to another in a statistic to achieve a tier above or the "+" rating of their current tier if they are 1.2x or less away from the rating. However, such ratings ultimately require case-by-case analysis, such as consistency, the length of any/all scaling chains, and how they are portrayed within the work itself. A gap of over 1.2x would not be considered for such an upscaling to avoid potential scaling chain issues.

This calc works more for Black Panther than Deadpool, truth be told. Deadpool, during the entire fight was being stomped really hard, but that's more due to skill difference, BP is far superior than DP and is easily top 5 most skilled fighters. I took a closer look at the comic this feat came from, and Deadpool at later pages shows no signs of damage or tiredness. So, technically, it's a good calc.

(Like I said many times before, giving context and comic issues at the calc blog should become the norm)
True, though Deadpool takes that 9-A hit and gets up pretty quickly, and there's no blood or bone-breaking.It seems like a better feat for Black Panther, yes, especially given that Deadpool heals very quickly.![]()
Agreed.I am of the opinion we should actually calculate more feats before we apply any tiers.
Agreed.
9-A list:
Accepted calcs:
Black Panther making a crater. (0.010463 tons)
Daredevil survives an explosion. (0.00879 Tons)
Not calculated:
Morpheus uses his powers to explode a car, which Moon Knight can tank it. (Common refs says it's about 48,471,794.25 Joules)
Took a point-blank explosion of a custom grenade that can explode tanks, which temporarily stunned him. (I assume it would upscale from the car value, but since it took him a moment to wake up, I don't know)
Like I said before, I think we need about 3-4 calcs to make a proper tier upgrade, and characters like Deadpool and Moon Knight can't really carry the upgrade. So if anyone can bring a few more from characters like Daredevil and Punisher, who don't have variable mechanics, and are more grounded. The case would be pretty better (but still, the more feats, the better).
Destroying tanks is actually 8-C.Took a point-blank explosion of a custom grenade that can explode tanks, which temporarily stunned him. (I assume it would upscale from the car value, but since it took him a moment to wake up, I don't know)
I took a look at the M60 model and compared to the issue, and they look similar, the fact that the comic was released in the 1980s also helps. If it took place in America and the comic was written anywhere between the 1960s to 1980s, it'd be an M60 Battle tank.
I think the Sam's feat is usable? Even if, for some reason, the OP says that the feat is dubious. It also helps because we got another Sam 9-A feat here.
This uses the M1 Abrams model, which is more modern than the tank portrayed in the comic. Even if Abrams, came around the time of the comic, if you look at the tank showed in the comic, it looks more like the M60 model.Destroying tanks is actually 8-C.
Iron Fist's calc needs to be redone, it uses skull thickness, when the head is generally an extra cm thicker. Also the floors are made of metal.
