Travel speed. But reaction speed applicable. IIRC, he amped his speed with Blue which attracts him towards it at speeds faster than Sukuna. Could be mistaken though. It counts as travel speed since he traveled there faster than Sukuna could react, but he was also able to react and "hug" Sukuna while moving at that speed. Gojo's not the only character like this. Mahito changed his legs to be deer/elk like, and was able to blitz Nanami from across the room and touch him before he could react/see him:

Essentially what Laser said, Gojo does use blue more to get places as he's never shown attacking with blue. However, since he does have to position himself that is Gojo at least reacting to his own ability.
