Is it enough for HDE that the mind exists in a dimension with an extra axis? Or does the body also have to be higher dimensional?

The character has a normal three-dimensional body, but his mind exists in a dimension with an extra-dimensional axis, and his mind is unaffected even if his entire body is destroyed. Is this enough for HDE? Or does his body also have to be of higher existence in order to receive HDE?

It's not enough and the body has to be HDE.
The mind is not a physical construct, so it cannot have geometry axis to begin with.

If the fiction says their mind is of a higher dimensional axis, then it's of a higher dimensional axis, you can't say it's not possible because the verse says it is.
If the verse says the mind is higher dimensional, then it is, but we still will not grant it HDE, since it is only for constructs with axes

Higher dimensional=extra axis or +1 axis. It's simple.

Stop saying the "extra axis, extra axis, extra axis..." because the meaning of higher dimensionality is already extra axis.

Please stop saying it as they are two different things, because they both mean the same thing.

In fiction it does not always mean the same thing
A transcendent being with chakra or more abstract can be referred to as higher D
A being due to R>F can be called higher D too
Which is why we look at the statements in contexts to see if it means extra axis.
If you are a soul, you are not physical so you do not even possess any axis to begin with.

Beings like more abstract "not really higher dimensional"

If a character is "truly called" higher "dimensional" or higher dimensions, it means he is extra-axial.(The important thing here is that the "higher dimension" is not used metaphorically or exaggeratedly.)

As the states on the page, writers can use things like "higher dimension or higher plane" in a figurative sense. But if this is used in its true sense, it is HDE.

And one more thing, R>F is not qualitative superiority in the sense of existence. Just being qualitatively superior to the lower plane in terms of power (or being more real).

In short, statements like "higher dimensional" or "higher dimension" usually mean being higher dimensional than lower plane, that is, extra axis, unless used metaphorically or exaggeratedly. Already in the HDE revision, it was said that if it was understood that these were not used in a figurative or exaggerated sense, it would be HDE.

Bro I said what I said, you are wrong, if you dont like it. Make a thread. Souls that are not physicals cannot be HDE by our standards. Simple

According to our current standards… if the consciousness is stated to have a higher dimensional axis then the mind qualifies.

Contrary to the little debate going on above. Our standards say nothing about what essence of an object qualifies and what doesn’t.

As Ultima has said before, statements like "higher dimension" or "higher existence" can be used figuratively or exaggeratedly by the writers, just like the statement of "transcendence."

But, if such statements are not used in a figurative sense (that is, if the above statements are used literally), "higher dimensions" or "higher existence" refer to higher dimensional plane and this meaning of extra axis.

Because these statements direct meaning is "higher dimensional"

I mean, if a verse slap this soul is higher-dimensional, or that mind is six dimensionals, we can't just say but muh non-physical construct do have have axes
