One day I will finally make a game with characters like this guy. He is a frog-fungus hybrid that in the future will realize he actually can make universes from his dreams, His name is Bibiroom.
What program would be recommended to make a sprite-based 2D platformer with a potato PC, by the way?
What would you suggest for sprites with 4k quality (Yeah, I actually have a printer that can scan stuff I draw IRL, with a limit being about 60k) and preferably 60fps?
I've always kinda wanted to screw around with RPG maker but that sounds difficult as all hell.
I've also got quite a few profiles on the back burner but they probably won't come to fruition right now.
I still need to figure out what value destroying a wooden warship would be.
RPG Maker? That´s the easiest way to make a game, in fact it´s one of the programs that needs the fewest programming. You just kinda drag stuff around like Super Mario Maker.
And the value depends on the size. At the very least it´s 9-B for sure.
