Immortality

Since there're some threats that seems to have a few problems with this concept and our list:

https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/1117227

https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/1168445

here are some changes I would propose:

1. We should rename Type 1 Immortality, since there is a difference between a characterthat ages very slowly (and as a result has a far higher lifespan) and a character that doesnt age and is immune to normal means of death (disease, ...). We could rename it into "semi-immortality" like here.

2. Type 8 immortality shouldnt be a seperate form of immortality, since a character that has this type, is still immortal in another sense (Type 1 or 3) and this just mentions under which condentions or why they are immortal. We should remove this and just mention, the condition/source in the profiles.

3. Types 7 and 2 are basically the same (at least from the examples I see at type 7). Perhabs we can integrate the current type 7 into type 2.

"2: Immortality without Regenerationn: Characters with this degree of immortality can survive a high degree of physical damage that would normaly end the functionality of there physical body (like the destruction of important organs), though they cannot regenerate from it either. This mostly applies to undead characters, which are often being impossible to kill through conventional means."

4. What about characters like ghosts or beings that are dead and also have no physical body left ? We could rename Type 7, to "Dead".

Regrettably, there are over 3000 profiles that link to the immortality page, so any revision of the definitions would require an enormous amount of time, organisation and resources to perform.

I know, but first we should probably discuss if the changes can be made. Perhabs you can highlite this.

I'm fine with the first.

No idea what the point is for the second. Type 8s regenerate because they have something they're reliant on. Having an immortality is a streamlined and easy to spot addition.

Type 2 is the inability to die due to conventional injury, Type 7 is the inability to die via already being dead.

Well, regrettably I still do not think that it is realistic to start this kind of revision, especially given that we have some other more important wiki revision projects to deal with.
