Seen a lot of fanboys accept hyperbole as literal in a verse they like but reject something literal as hyperbole in a verse they dislike.

Examples:

Fairy Tail fanboy wanks Acnologia to planet level when he says that he's going to destroy the world. Rejects Yamamoto's 15 million degree Bankai as hyperbole.
