Hyperdimension Neptunia General Discussion The Animation Chapter 8 - The Paradise (Island) Forbidden ...on which people will DO THINGS to

Have you ever wondered why Hyperdimension neptunia blanc cute by pumpkin pai-d9tbi17 and Iffy mad are one of my favs in the series?

(Everyone else is just right behind them, and they're extremely close... Although if you were to point a gun to my head, I'd say First Impressions Uzume [from what I've seen of her so far] would be on #3)

Anyways, I felt like talking a bit about myself (as I don't really have any other interesting ideas to start off a conversation with), so I guess I'll quickly go over why those two are my favs.


Y'know, I love characters that are just plain trolls (such as Deadpool, Gary King from the World's End and even Spidey on occasion).

So when I was looking at Neptunia material for the first time (I was looking at a review that was like a beginner's starting guide of sorts of where to start with the series) the creator of the video showed a funny scene between Noire and Blanc (MegaTagmension).

And when I saw Blanc being a total troll to Noire, I couldn't resist my smiling.

Plus, every single scene with her just makes me smile. (Except for the inevitable sad ones that'll probably come up in future games... probably)


So, for Iffy, she was actually the first character I really liked the character design of when I was quickly skimming through the anime (before I really got into the series), and I found her to be extremely relatable/similar to me in quite a lot of areas. Except replace obsessions with phones with obsessions of computers (Although I won't deny that I carry my phone around all the time with earphones plugged in)... and that I'm male.
 
Anyway, sorry for that essay, I felt very interested in the subject and I wanted to start off a conversation, so...

Why you apologizing, its wonderful to hear opinions from others, them being essays just gives us more insight and details which makes it all the better.
 
So, since peedforce give us his essay and he is interested in this subject, can you give us a little of yours opinions going by the question he made me?
 
Quick note, this list will not include Lord Eggboi, Lord Baki and Lord Ramen Guy as the three great deities are obviously above everyone else.

If i had to put 2 favourite characters they would likely be Swai and Obito, althought Yamato(Guy from my avatar) can also easily fit there.

I love(no homo) Swain for multiple reasons, firstly his design is absolutely amazing and he looks flawless in my opinion. Then i really like his lore and his personality fits perfectly with it. Another very important reason is that he is by far the most fun character for me to play from League of Legends and the only character i can keep spamming and still have fun playing.

And Obito cause i love how at the start he was always there for his friends and didnt betray them no matter what, later on we find out that he is Tobi who i really adore as his joking/troll personality is perfect and any scene with him at that point was great. And at the end he turns into an op guy thats pretty badass, after which he gets talked no jutsud which i dislike but meh thats unavoidable in Naruto, all in all he was the coolest guy.

Well that took a bit long.
 
I was mainly talking about Neptunia with that Top 2

But hey, this is interesting as well. Gives us more of a further insight than the Neptunia ones would have, so that's a good thing in my books.

I dont really have a real opinion on any of the Neptunia characters as i havent played, watched, read any of the games,manga or the anime, althought i will try out RB:1.
 
Oh, I see. I guess I was under the wrong impression, but no matter. But if you are planning to play RB;1 though, make sure you do it with a bloody controller, mouse and keyboard were a nightmare for me
 
I mean, you can still try and use the mouse and keyboard. My experience with the m & k might not be the same for you, you might end up preferring it. Either way, you'd need to play the game for yourself to find out which one is right for you.
