I checked our Hurricane (Real World) page and it says that the AP of a Hurricane is 8-A (Multi-City Block level) kinetic energy.

It mentions 1.3 * 10^17 Joules per day; to convert that to watts, which is per second. Divide that by 86400 (Seconds in a day) to get 1.5046296e+12 Joules per second.

Thanks a lot. I thought that part was referring to the Tier 7 rating since the AP description came after that rating not right after the 8-A rating so I ignored it. My question is answered so I'll close this.
