How far can Reactive Evolution go without reaching NLF?

Title, it's a thing I've been thinking about if characters have an ability like that of Doomsday to "never die the same way they did before" or a vague description as "Can instantly adapt to any attack thrown against them", where is the line drawn for them if we have to assume a limit to it?

Depends on context but at most the abilities shown to exist in their specific verse at their dimensional level. Abilities not shown can be adapted to but not if they're of a higher level than anything the character has shown to be able to adapt to. For example, a character with this statement can probably adapt to Poison Manipulation if something like Deconstruction has been shown to exist in the setting but definitely not Law Manipulation.

Is honestly pretty hard unless they are literally built around RE and show a lot like doomsday, you basically have to find a pattern.

For example, resistances/countermeasures

if they are shown adapting to physical stuff, such as absorption against energy, elasticity for punches, resisting extreme heat and gaining flight, you can argue that they can counter any 1v1 physical situation.

However, that doesn't mean they can counter stuff related to AP and AOE (like a supernova), non-physical stuff (soul and mind hax) or weirder "physical" stuff (time and space hax).

So yeah, you gotta analyze their feats in verse for this, is hyper case by case.

well kama by ex was able to regen from a conceptual erasure with reactive evolution and finish by becoming the universe that was erased with her

it's was to show that it depend the level and feat, but anyways it's hard to assume so i think that these go mostly by feat and don't go with assumption
You literally just threw out a Fate feat.
