How does Hakumen's Susanoo ability work?

In the Blazblue wiki I see that Hakumen have Susanoo, it said that "Its true purpose is to slash time without the risk of a paradox" so how is it truly work? It kill one's time and will not cause a paradox in the timeline? Or killing one's time and won't be affect if their is a paradox occur? And I want to know if Hakumen can be affect by power affect time like timestop, etc..?

I think it means to sever timeloop and allow time to flow forward.

He can slash the "time" of someone, erasing from existence, like he did with Terumi.

That I understand, he kill the time and erase them, the part I want to ask is it work as the Susanoo prevent paradox from happen right? If he be affected by ability or power like time stop, etc...?
