hot takes, huh. i got a few
-Touhou deserves to be one of the strongest tier 2 non-smurfs on the wiki,and that's before shooting for tier 1.
-Touhou legitimately has some of the coolest worldbuilding I've ever seen, very few things are clear cut, and most thematic elements are highly up to interpretation by design, as the series uses the subjectivity of truth as a near constant theme throughout. It's also fascinating to see how the themes have changed over time, shifting from commentary on dreams and reality and the thin lines between fantasy and reality before shifting to exploring religious conflict, before more recently taking on modern issues in a much more explicit fashion (Touhou was always political, it's just way more obvious now) while also tying this back into a greater focus on dreams/reality and the concept of the butterfly dream.
-I'm sick of "strongest (x)" type stories, I literally cannot differentiate between any of them, and it seems like a lot of the love they get are from people who are unrelentingly horny for the female characters or powerscalers.
-I have no idea if this is actually a hot take but D&D 3.5e >>>> D&D 5e.
-Transduality is ******* stupid and should be non-duality instead.
-Black cherry soda is still a good drink and everyone who disagreed with me in that thread should be banned
-If you put pineapple on pizza, put cream in carbonara, or don't salt your pasta water, I WILL find you, and you WILL face judgement for your sins.
