Higher Dimensional Immortality in Threads... Type 9.

Coming here to request that "type 9" be added here as well since it is generally agreed by now and the only reason it isn't written yet is because type 9 was added after this rule was already made:

  • "When making a match using a character that has Immortality Types 4 and 8 (Exclusively based on existing so long as a higher-dimensional being/entity exists) where the opponent has no way to bypass this, it is automatically restricted."
It's the exact same mechanic as the ones that are already restricted, really.

Only thing changing is the number as far as the match is concerned and as far as I've seen around VS Threads everyone seems to be in a consensus about it, so it shouldn't be much trouble other than simply putting the 9 there. Because you can't expect a character in a lower dimension to deal with a being whose true form is literally entire lvls of infinity above it 99.9% of the time.

Thoughts?

If you transmute,mind wip or seal/bfr the character with whose types of immortalities would it count as a win depending on the battle OP?

@Thunder Most of the time no since their higher-dimensional self will just be free to do whatever anyways.

The rule says restrict whenever it is higher dimensional and the opponent has 0 means to get around it anyways.

Actually, Arceus' type 9 isn't restricted because it's the exact same tier as him.

Then again it was a issue to bypass only for 2-Cs.

2-B people bust the multiverse and call it a day.

Nah, for some reason people always assumed it was banned, all of 682s matches thus far have had it automatically restricted. 682s matches won't change

@Weekly

Huh, I thought Nicol Bolas' one wasn't. That was the main argument for 682's victory after all...

Anywho, dropping the topic, won't clutter the thread now.

I think that this seems to make sense.
