I am incredibly iffy on using What If scaling for Thor and co., let alone the Thena statement until and unless there's better scaling chains or proof.

We used 9-A+ Strange just for him being basically identical to canon Sorcerer Supreme Strange

I don't see why 6-B Captain Marvel from the Ultron episode is any less usable beyond incredulity. She too is identical to canon Captain Marvel
 
Also What If scaling being weird sometimes wasn't even the main argument

It was the limit for pre-Love and Thunder characters but now that's massively higher so the feat can't even be called an outlier anymore

Qawsedf was the main guy arguing against it. I'll call him here to see if we can all clear this up

@Qawsedf234 would you mind elaborating on the usability on What If scaling to the main canon?
 
Pretty sure we already established it's going by a case by case basis with most otherwise being unusable.

Strange works because they made specifically made it a point to show and say that he went throughout literally exactly the same events as our strange with him just loosing Christina as the only difference. That's a case where we can work with it but the obvious ones I don't need to explain are cases where we obviously wouldn't backscale to the main canon

As of right now, considering Multiverse of Madness showed there were canonical differences between the power level in alt universes, the scaling only works one way.

In other words What If scaling to the movies is acceptable, but Movies cannot scale to the main universe until proven with future material.
