Hajime Hinata vs Alex Mercer

It lasted months at least.

Incapacitation, when the opponent is rendered unable to fight for 24 hours.
Uh huh, still it's hard work to make an animation during the battle, even with luck you must basically have a material and time.

And thanks for explaining, under that circumstance then I see a win con by mind hax.

Some wins aren't interesting visually like a straight brawler fight. If written well, a win not involving H2H fighting can be interesting (Light defeating L)

I think my vote will go to Hajime here, ig. If it's "supernatural luck" I guess Alex still has a chance of killing him with something, even if it is small.

I have a question. Are we really sure that Mukuro's singing causes people to go mad? I checked the link on her profile but it doesn't explicitly show that her singing causes others to go crazy. So what I did was that I watch the entire scene of Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibougamine Gakuen episode 7 where the feat supposedly comes from. I found out that student council killing each other had nothing to do with Mukuro's singing at all.

What happened was Junko Enoshima threatened to expose all of their secrets if they didn't start killing each other. So one of them impaled a dude with a katana, and started to attack the others. The others started grabbing for deadly weapons to defend themselves and it all spiraled from there. If there is something I'm missing here I would like to know.

The only win con I see now for Hajime is incap via mind manipulation.
But it wastes pretty long time in combat and very dependant, cause not every location have a material to at least make a computer on which you would animate, as I understand. Luck may can help but still not everywhere, and not everytime.

Nagito's luck is alraedy passive and costantly in action tho
but not much infinite in time. For example, Makoto, who's stated as luckier than Nagito if I remember by Nagito himself was damaged in many occasions including Danganronpa, and Danganronpa IF. He even had an unlucky day as I know. Rephrasing I want to say luck doesn't makes you invincible and you still can be vulnerable, and Alex by making a minor damage can already cause a virus, which in practice is more easier than making an animation.

Nagito's luck is not self-destructive in nature, as in it doesn't go from "you now have cancer and your parents are dead" to "you won the lottery and get to hang ou with your idols".

It also stops him from outright dying, like when it somehow allowed Alter Ego to hack a computer that it couldn't if someone else were to be executed, or when someone threw a knife at Makoto's head and he tripped and dodged it.

But no, Makoto's luck has nothing on such high level feats.

so, Nagito's statement is outlier?

Nagito considers not lapsing into months to years of torture where he loses everything he held dear to the most unlucky set of accidents as a big enough drawback to consider Makoto's general MC luck better.

Izuru and Hajime don't have the lapses into becoming unlucky.

Nagito is a guy who always underestimates himself, calling he and his own luck worthless, ofc he would say that Makoto is superior in his inferiority complex.
Tbh I'm by myself not believer in Makoto's luck is > Nagito's luck. But, just to consider that statement up.

The... lack of lapses. Izuru goes for a long time without ever getting unlucky and he has more than one person that he copied the luck of. If he had such a massive weakness, it would be brought up.

Well then. I see it'll go basically infinitely, making it inconclusive~hajime W if fight takes place in city location where material for animation can be found. In other locations such as... Let's say desert, forests, mountains, I don't see hajime getting much of material for making an animation, where fight can go inconclusive until Hajime would die from getting old which would make Alex win. At least how I see it.
For coming for a bit more forward to this battle I would like to ask @Adem_Warlock69 to consider a location if that's possible, cause fight is very dependant(at least how I see).

Location: Central Park, New York City. The location can be left during the course of battle. If extreme advantages are generated via this location to one side, a balanced alternative should be discussed in the thread.

Then, yes.
Soon or late after a long time, Hajime can hide and make an animation.
Not know if this would be in his character, since it's not a bloodlusted fight.
Although I changing my vote for Hajime under this circumstances. Which makes this a Grace as I know.

even if hajime is in a desert a plane will crash in front of hajime having all the materials he needs for the animation undamaged due to his luck

Which still can be seen by Alex and get destroyed by him. City is more perfect location though.

i mean hajime could just keep singing until he finishes the animation
True.
Though MM from feats doesn't seem much distractive while Alex can just use a single move to destroy everything(I remember his move when he puts his claws in ground and in distance he makes very large and strong attack). Or use a shockwave in process.
