Guilty Gear Speed Downgrade (Possibly)

So, apparently, the Guilty Gear verse had been ranked for a long time as Massively FTL+ because of a calc done on Jack-O Valentine that puts her on 32 Trillion FTL.

It comes from her Instant Kill, which all it has is the background of a galaxy likely for cinematic effects.

The speed seems like a massive outlier when compared to all the other GG speed feats I have seen so far, specially with his low amount of reliability, and the fact that the verse pretty much shows Massively Hypersonic feats at best.

The power result is fine, I don't see any problem with it, but the galaxy part is just the vaguest thing ever and shouldn't be applied at all for speed.

I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this (the fact that the attacks are all about how they look, because power-wise they're far below that) why Inazuma Eleven characters like Kiyama Hiroto got from Large Planet to City?

I would like to see proof to back-up this, if it's possible.

And If I'm wrong, please feel free to correct me, I just feel like the speed should be downgraded unless we have other solid feats on the Massively FTL+ range.

The background effect is not for cinematic effects, its a reference to Justice Insta-Kill which is easily MFTL+, the verse has other MFTL+ speed feats.

Could you mention some of those other feats?

Because the Instant Kill you linked doesn't seem MFTL+ to me, as all we can see is that it goes into space in a short time, which is fast, but likely not MFTL+ unless I'm missing something important.

Personally I disagree with this. Justice's instant kill in original Guilty Gear is also MFTL+ easily. Sol's attack speed alongside Justice is also MFTL+, due to their IF affecting entire universe in short period of time.

She reaches space in a fraction of a second before keeping on going and finishing you off in outer space. That's like Sub-Relativistic at best.

Also, care to explain the other feat you mentioned?

Why is that Sub-relativistic, that's impossible. You saw that she moved so fast that she easily saw the stars as blurs. You even see that she gets past galaxies. That's definitely MFTL+.

I don't see how Jack-O's instant kill is just the background. Elphelt or Slayer, sure, it changed instantly. But Jack-O's kill is different, you saw that she is lifted upwards, we even saw the movement of her to space. Same with other instant kill like Potemkin.

Again, Sol and Justice's IF is MFTL+, it travel from Japanese Colony to the universe so fast that it seemingly affect the universe simultaneously. Unless you tell me that it's not that fast, which is wrong. Universal Will will create new humanity during IF, so she can react to it. Sin's charge caught Universal Will off-guard.

Justice's Instant Kill: I understand what you're saying, but I'm pretty sure Justice didn't go through them, as they are far away in the background. I could accept it, it's just that it's very vague to assume she is like MFTL+ just like that.

Jack-O's Instant Kill: It's likely for cinematic effects, I mean, she went from getting pushed a few meters to getting pushed outside the galaxy. It's kinda weird to be taken seriously. She went into space, yes, that's for sure, but traveling such a distance in such a short time frame seems like a huge outlier.

Also: What do you mean with "IF"? I've tried to look it up but I can't find anything

Wait ******* what? Why didn't people just pixel scale the one galaxy then calc it like Jack-O's feat? You can't see galaxy 69,000km away. This is definitely galaxy btw.

Being weird doesn't make it wrong. What's outlier about throwing someone to space? Again, Justice did that.

That calcs are quite old and did not account important details, so the values are higher.

Plus the best speed calc you've shown ranks at FTL.

But still, while I still believe Jack-Os Feat isn't very reliable, those feats you've showed, after thinking about, do seem reasonable.
