Celestialsapiens are slow to make decisions and the Mother Celestialsapien was still debating whether to erase Kevin from existence since he still hadn't absorbed the baby (if he had i highly doubt Kevin would live for more than 1 second). By the way Alien X is one of the few Celestialsapiens (along with Galactic Gladiator) that can resolve the issues of debate quickly, so he would not suffer from these problems when the issue is to EE a threat.
