in the manga, gogeta speed blitzes fu, so fast he can't see anything. that's just in its basic ssj4 form. When turning Lb, he breaks time and nullifies fu's time stop. Fu also admits that he had never seen anything like it, saying that this power was not in the data and history he collected. Fu had to resort to temporal acceleration, thus ending the fusion's time. Gogeta wins this one even in basic ssj4, honestly.
