God of War: Ragnarok Discussion Thread

That'd be even more hilarious because right before Baldur throws the stone at Kratos, the latter only considers Baldur to be the strongest mortal he ever fought, thinking that no mortal could survive that.
Baldur > Last Spartan who fought GoW2 Kratos

This is literally before Kratos goes Spartan Rage and mollywhops Baldur to the point where it's not even funny LOL.

It's even further back from the "No mortal could survive that" statement xD
Yeah ik was just for incase someone was confused by what i mean by novel statament

Imagine thinking a Depowered Cronos is above Prime Poseidon when a far younger and weaker Hades and Poseidon 2 v 1'd a Prime Atlas who was comparable to Cronos 😭

Should odin get something like deconstruction for killing thor?

And he dosen't have healing on his profiles for healing two berserkers.

Is there a reason why some titens have size manipulation on their profiles?

Also, it's interesting how jötnar actually have size manipulation. Which can potentially mean garm does too.

Simple, how else do you bang Rhea or any of the other human-sized Titans?

No, really. Everyone and their mother in the Greek Pantheon deemed a god have also been granted the right to grow as big as they wish or into whatever they wish. Primordials are the progenitors, Titans can do the same, and it's natural for the Olympians to do the same as well.

Garm ain't a Jotnar.

Well, makes sense, not really saying they don't have that ability.

But also, Olympians can be as big as titens too.

Garm's race isn't ever revealed. Really, he's closer to an eldritch abomination than anything else.

By the way, do all genuine Gods have the capability to regrow limbs over time? I've noticed it's surprisingly common, and no anti-feats (at least from non-God Killing weapons) come to mind.

AFAIK, no. Most of the gods that do have Low-Mid regen (Kratos, Ares, Zeus and Prometheus) have it for healing from disembowelment.

Only Gaia so far has Low-Mid for regenerating her entire hand back.

Tyr is Tyr, we have no idea how he got his limb back.

Sisters of Fate on the other hand have Mid for having their entire brains skewered in half and regenerating right afterwards.

Regen doesn't exactly get the best showcases in GoW, and when it does, it's mostly to heal severe abdomen wounds.

Yeah agree visual representation of regen in GoW is really really bad. I need something like anime chainsaw man level regen showcase.

It's really not that bad, we're just not a weaboo verse with Omega-Godly regeneration. And nobody at SSM cares to look that way.

the thing is GoW R has pretty good deconstruction animation tho (when you finish the enemies). Why not utilize that animation as regen from dust or something like that

That's not really deconstruction tho, that's just enemies dying and disappearing, nothing new, happened in the old GoW games too where they turn into black mist and disappear or fizz out in dark smoke and electricity and vanish.
