That is still inconsistent

• Carol resisted it because she was tired of being punished for her Kree side
• Old Thanos tanked it daily and young Thanatos resisted it okay
• Other criminals in Ghost Rider's solo have just resisted it
• A monster resisted it because it had more than two eyes
• A member of the Nova Corps just tanked it
• This guy just GG'ed it

Its no longer PIS if it fails multiple times at multiple different points. Then it becomes canonically inconsistent.

it did work on venom albeit weirdly
