Getting rid of "Chou"

Oh, my gosh, this "Chou" thing is soooo ugly.

Introduction

Much like TV Anime-exclusive characters are denoted as being "Toei" pages to differentiate them from their mainline canon counterpart or possibly other non-canon iterations, characters from the Super manga who exist in both the manga and have counterparts in other series are denoted as being "Chou" pages.

No.

Firstly, "Chou" is super, super ugly to look at.
Secondly, "Dragon Ball Chou"? The word "chou" is not even the word used in the Japanese title — that would be "sūpā". "Doragon Bōru Sūpā".
Thirdly, how come the anime gets the privilege of being considered "Dragon Ball Super"? Even though the anime is the one represented in games and whatnot, the manga is considered the primary canon by Shueisha and Toyotaro, and the manga is the series that is ongoing with direct involvement from Toriyama.

Also, the manga began serialization before the anime began airing.

Anyway, we should change this.

Proposals

  1. "(Chou)" is changed to "(DBS Manga)"; "(Dragon Ball Super)" is changed to "(DBS Anime)"
  2. "(Chou)" is changed to "(Super Manga)"; "(Dragon Ball Super)" is changed to "(Super Anime)"

Agreed option 1, btw, what does ''Chou'' means?

I like how a thing I wrote about as a pet peeve in the pet peeve thread is finally getting addressed.
