Genshin Impact General Discussion!

Not much is happening well hopefully the new event's last mission has some good stuff in it

Also do the Travelers have the ability to survive in space or are we waiting for more info on that before we give them that ?

In my opinion, we should wait for more info first. Also, maybe it is time for someone to make a full Argument List.

So Mona's saying that the meteors are actually stars from somebody's constellation, so someone's out there busting stars and the wreckage is falling on Liyue and Monstadt. She does state that stars shouldn't be forming meteors so she's going to investigate more.

Also new Harbinger Scaramouche who made Mona freak out hard over his power level. His mask is at the top of his huge ass hat. Doesn't seem like the Traveller is strong enough to fight Scaramouche yet, otherwise Mona would have seen that so Scaramouche is probably stronger than the team of Traveller, Mona and Fischl.

Mona seems to have passive precog and info analysis to some extent, she realised that Scaramouche was a Fatui Harbinger and he was about to attack without looking at her water dial.

Just curious, but seeing as we've yet to decide, what's currently the lowest potential tier we have in Genshin?

Depends on the characters I guess. We do have characters with natural lightning, so 8-C is definitely up there. Childe crushing the floor and throwing around Ruin Guards in FLT would be a feat. We can calc the explosion of Klee's bomb. Sooo... probably between 9-B (characters like Amber) and 8-C (Characters like Jean) for the main cast? I'd have to go and look for more feats tho.

I'm wondering how strong Ruin Guards are. Do we have a baseline AP for missiles?

We know that Ruin Guards should be individually much stronger than Agents, since Childe treated a group of Agents and Skirmishers like fodder, while he wasn't confident in beating four (or was it three?) Ruin Guards in under 10 seconds; to the point of being forced to use FLT to get it done.

About the ruin guards, in the cut scene we see him fighting 4 at once. Once he is done there are 7 or so. I guess those are likely also the ones you fought before that though

Yeah. No reason for the RGs you already destroyed to just up and disappear. So we beat 3 under 60s together, and FLT-Childe solos 4 in 10s.

Assuming that Liyue-Traveler and Base/DU Childe are about equal, then can we assume FLT-Childe is about 16x stronger than normal Childe?

Venti used wind power to get rid of all the snow in Monstadt and also did a bit of landscape redesign, yeeting the previous tallest mountain in the world into the ocean. I think scaling Dragonspine (current tallest mountain) should be possible. It could be a good starting point at least.

She says "drop a mountain" and since the mountain is currently Musk Reef where the Abyss is, we know its in one piece. Obviously, he would have to blow it away in one go, it didn't get weathered by the wind or anything so we don't have to take time into consideration.

Regardless of whether it was blown there all at once or lifted up by sustained winds, Pilos Peak was apparently tall enough to reach the bottom of the ocean and still break the surface. We don't know the depth of the ocean at that point, though. Could be a normal ocean or a Mariana Trench.

We do know that Dragonspine is easily scalable since we'll eventually be able to physically do so in-game, Pilos by comparison is apparently the tallest mountain ever and wasn't scaled even by a legendary adventurer. It's also implied by Zhongli that Mondstadt's original landscape was akin to Liyue's current one, so the tallest mountain in Mond should at least be comparable in height to Qingyun Peak, which is the highest point in the game so far.

Still don't know if we can even calc the size of Pilos accurately. Since Dragonspine is nearer to Mondstadt, then we can assume it's closer to the original geography of Mondstadt, meaning that at the very least Pilos would scale above it in height, via being considered the tallest mountain. But at the same time, we have no means of calculating its radius, so we're kinda effed on that front. Not to mention how the feat isn't even destruction-based.

Yeah this sounds like a lost cause.

Probably. But who would it even scale to? As a feat it's kinda iffy, since it implies that just the weight of the Jade Palace falling on Osial is enough to kill it, which would be PIS considering what it should scale to.

We can assume the Adepti all enhanced the damage of the self-destruct explosion, but then we'd have to assume Xiao scales to a fraction of the attack that killed Osial, which would mean those who scale to Xiao when he comes out would be just as strong. It's all very weird.

I always thought that whatever kept the palace floating exploded when it dropped. Actually, do we know what kept it in the air?

Come to think of it, don't we have a vaporization feat for Diluc? I vaguely remember him vaporizing an Abyss Mage during the Darknight Hero questline.

Zhongli's Character Demo just dropped for English viewers:

His meteor's size is pretty impossible to calc with the perspective being so weird, but maybe the cloud-parting caused by it can be calced instead? Its fall speed can probably be calced too. From what I can tell, he's the first character since Jean to canonically wield a 5-star weapon (Vortex Vanquisher).

Edit: Dibs on making Zhongli's profile.

Woke up, exchanged stardust for 5 wishes cuz 1 December, pulled 7 times, got Zhongli and Keqing. Omega profit. As for the Zhongli sidestory, its important for lore reasons but no real feats other than that the Guyun Stone Forest spears were originally far larger but were weathered over time.

How can you summon Zhongli already? Thought he was only able to summon through his banner?
