G.O.H General Discussion thread #1

Post Ragnarok profiles will be on hold for awhile. Because the series isn't over yet and a lot of characters got stronger and weaker.

All I know is that most characters got stronger thanks to the Taboo being lifted.

Just going to put this out here, but when I first started reading GoH, I thought of the Taboo as some kind of hax that simply made it impossible for humans to hurt gods.

Don't remember exactly why, but I seemed to think of it as more than just a power boost.

Taboo was put in place so no matter how powerful you were, you couldn't harm the Gods. Most characters even stated that if the Taboo weren't in place, they would be as strong as Gods, or at least Nephelim, since Mujin was able to effortlessly kill one once the Taboo was lifted for him.

Taboo also halted the evolution of humans, since Gen X is proof that humans could develop their own powers without having to brorrow from the Gods.

I remember seeing someone say that Mori has Law manipulation because R with his Tam was able to destroy the taboo without the keys and was said to be so powerful that it could bend the laws of the natural world. Since Mori scales to him and above he would be able too.

Law manipulation

What do you guys think? I'm not really sure about this one tbh

Greed naturally consumes everything, it can even consume the Taboo.

@AstralKing7 Yeah it was. Mujin having killed off possible world presidents. But who did record Mujin stabbing Taejin in the back?? that is actually interesting.

You guys wanna hear a juicy bit of detail?

Current arc characters cannot be harmed by divine beings because of the reverse Taboo.

That means The Presence can't harm Peach

He's a monster. He's not divine. Not since the Holy Grail sealed him.

It was. And I think it was worth it, considering the fact that Jin wouldn't have been able to grow any more as a character if he just remained the Supreme God that he was. Unlike Dragon Ball, GoH's approach to power escalation actually has a cap, and nerfing a character works better than making stronger enemies.

brings up that moment where Dan realizes that he can drastically boost the power of his actual form by training as his weaker form

Dan straight up said that that may not work. Regardless, most of the senior characters are either dead or getting weaker, while the newer characters got stronger.

So it's still heartwarming to see Mo-Ri kicking all of the Executives asses as Mo-Ri Dan.

Idk, maybe its just from other animes or something, I just felt as if they're was something or there was going to be something romantic.

Guys, I reread the Dean and Mori fight and realized how OP Dean is. Not only can he see 5 seconds into the future, but he can also learn techniques using this method as well. Unlike Mori who can only copy fighting techniques, Dean can copy powers as well.

Dean's potential is insane.
