This is mecha frieza vs SSJ future gohan. Speed is equalized and fight takes place on earth.
Basically, towa time shenanigans by Xenoverse logic gets frieza to the future timeline. Gohan, sensing frieza’s ki and bewildered by his return, powers up to a Super Saiyan determined to defend the planet once more from any form of threat to earth, while frieza decides killing Goku’s son is the next best thing.
