What does being able to touch a "formless substance" grant?
good NPI

So we've got ourselves a conundrum here it seems. That sucks. It sucks that Odin, in his infinite power, who is capable of beating Ymir and making midgard, is unable to walk to another pantheon. Now, mimir stating the only reason Tyr was capable of visiting other pantheons was because the unity stone's power is because he failed to mention the stone's power creates boats, which then allow you to take that long, frivolous, and extremely dangerous voyage to another pantheon. That's why we see tyr on a boat in the triptych. It's all coming together now, because it always puzzled me why mimir stated if Odin was capable of going to other pantheons, he would've done it long ago. Now it all makes sense, he lacked a boat.
or maybe Odin got bounded by fate and if he try to stray from path he will get erased just like kratos.

Thing is how don’t we know that their referring to just the land of Midgard and not the supersized Earth?
That could've been what he meant if not for the fact that he took Freya's statement of the Serpent spanning all of Midgard as synonymous to "the whole world" which is why he says "told you!" to Kratos as a reference to their interaction earlier.

Fair point but I’d note that’s his interpretation of Freya’s statement

Forgive me if I’m wrong but I don’t believe at this point of the story Atreus was aware of other regions and lands beyond Midgard and the Nine Realms

For him “the whole world” is the land that he knows and has been all his life

I’d be happy to discuss this further but could we take this to my message wall?

I feel I derailed too much lmao

It's all good, I'm just hoping for a decent explanation of how everything works in the future. I just thought the whole fiasco was kinda weird with what Fallen God established. I don't really have anything else to add to the cosmology discussion so I won't be commenting on your wall.

That does not really matter, under right conditions you can damn near light a fire anywhere on Earth. Even under water or really low temperatures. Obviously what material and under what conditions is burned etc etc matters....but its possible on principle.
Only exception would be vaccum, where there is no air.

Same cannot be said for Helhiem, where fire is not allowed to even exist in the first place. Magic at that. If that Surtr guy can give heat to Stars and Cosmos( literally vaccum of space) can't burn in Helhiem, then you know BoC is gigachad weapon for burning in Helhiem.

Good point. But i hope there are word "Law" in it. So the feat would become blatant and straightforward.

Also i hope Santa Monica will take "Simplicity Approach" when explaining GoW lore in next game whatever it about metaphysics , concept, existence, time, etc...

I was wondering if Atlas and anyone who scales to him should have Infinite lifting strength since the sky was stated to be Infinite in one of the novels.

So odin curse also work against non-living thing huh ? interesting. This might affect Kratos passive status effect inducement. (armor from cursed mist)

Speaking about Kratos's profile, i have found this, what do you thinks?

Specifically the Abilities/Resistances section.
at glance i presume the user who made this profile know about power and abilities from primary canon but with missing some abilities.

he probably lack of power and abilities from card game or lore and legend book such as damage reflection, etc...

Not really, like I said there is no visual indication other than the status effect, like with every other status effect in the game it gives the enemies effects of a certain color specifically purple for the one we're talking about.
