Not sure how poison would really work against the Basic's unique composition, that being completely made of non-organic Energy. (So they should have Inorganic Physiology which resists Poison Manip). However, because I didn't include that, I guess it wouldn't be fair if Basics had that all the sudden.

Regardless, the size advantage of the F. Spider is something to be reckoned with, but the Basic's smaller size is an advantage to, since it can hide much easier in buildings and such. Due to Basic's intelligence (should be Gifted, not Genius in this key since despite being smart, they are only around 5 years old in this key), they can potentially figure out a plan to say, attack the legs of the spider first, once they are ripped off with Energy blade like attacks, the Spider would be practically harmless due to only being able to attack from the mouth.

However, one bite from a Fish Spider and it can potentially put down the Basic (since it's kinda unfair to put in Inorganic Physiology now) with poison. But I'd say a 6-4 Advantage to Basics
