Fire Emblem discussion thread: Long Live Medeus!

There's already a Content Revision for something else and more important. It's JSW's Anankos thread. Plus, we all know how Mik is at this point.

There's also the option to go back to Anankos' High 6-A Reality Warping feat now that I think about it though. But we should go back to the Anankos Thread before discussing any of that stuff.

Something about it being more hax rather than AP. Which the feat it self is true in that regard. But Fire Emblem is another verse where magical resistance is generally comparable to the Magical attack potency. That being said, it should be discussed on the Anankos thread.

For notable techniques, it's better to actually list them on the notable techniques section instead of linking them to the wiki. List them in the form of bullet points and also paraphrase them. And also be careful not to make it sound too much like game mechanics. The summary could also use a bit more elaborance.

One last thing, I don't think "Shaking Realms" is generally qualified as a speed feat. Plenty of verses have tried using that as a justification for Massively FTL+, but often dismissed. If someone was shown flying to the stars, that would be a different story. But everything else looks pretty good.

I've been playing through Echoes again and I found another stamina feat, Celica's party has to survive their battle against Terrors (when Jedah teleports them beneath Duma Tower) for a bare minimum of 4 in-game days (Assuming the Secret Shrine isn't visited, 6 days if it is)

Seems legit! And hopefully Three Houses has more to add. And by the way, to add to Anankos' feat, I think there might be other feats that involve pocket reality and/or alternate dimension. I know Grima's was just a black background so that doesn't hold much influence. And Nagi's realm wasn't implied to have been created by anyone, but maybe there might be other obscure but similar feats?

Yeah, it's going to be awesome. Even if the totality of the game (All three houses together) is yet another over 200 hour long game.

I even got a call earlier today, the Gamestop employee told me my copy would be ready by 9PM tomorrow...er, today here in EST

Only hours away...I'm honestly so excited.

Speaking of which, in Linde's battle with Garneff, she uses a move called "Starlight" which might be another starry sky feat. https://youtu.be/KPdJ19bhIIs

I commented about that; and that's an entire galaxy in the background. However, I was joking about that. It's not really stated what happens and if it's just a mere waving their hand to change the background, it's generally an illusion. To assume pocket reality feats would basically be, 2 of three things; a statement about creating a world/realm, shaking the realm when they strike, and the realm being destroyed when the creator dies.

Would have been a fun feat though, but not legit.

I'm looking forward to getting the game maybe this afternoon. And, we'll have to play it first, but it seems likely that it's part of Marth's timeline. Maybe it takes place many years after Awakening. Speaking of Awakening, it takes place in the 2600's A.D. and they still use medieval weapons.

Yeah, but they make up for it with powerful magic and superhuman strength. And ironically, the more chronologically later a Zelda game is, the more primitive the technology. So they're also in similar boat.

Yup, that sounds legit. Knowing how to punch is far more innovative and advanced than Time Travel or Massively FTL+ space travel. Just look at Dragon Ball, that taught us that very well.

P.S. We got a rule about waiting a few months for major content revisions of a new big hit video game, but I will say we already have a good start for a certain goddess character as well as some good hax.

I think I mentioned this before, but this talk of time and advancements reminded me: I originally didn't care about Awakening so I didn't bother looking into it. A friend of mine was talking about it after playing it and explained to me that it was in the future for Marth's timeline and there was timetravel involved.

So of course, my dumb brain put two and two together and got five. I somehow thought he meant that the game was a sci-fi game that traveled back in time to the more medival fantasy time of Fire Emblem and there'd be a mix of future technology, fantasy weapons, and magic.

...I still kinda wish that had actually happened.

That actually would have been nice, TBH

And while Awakening saved the series, the new "dating sim" feature has divided the fanbase
