Fire Emblem discussion thread: Long Live Medeus!

"In my opinion, the statements were super solid, it was about Loki stating that infinite worlds exist within Azura's dream world, and thus, 2-A."

Did I miss something?

I didn't really see much explaining, nor did I see any proof of Dream World containing infinite worlds with world meaning timelines. Not to mention not every world on her example meant timeline; as Awakening World and Mystery World are the exact same timelines but different time periods. So, I still saw nothing explaining 2-A and sounds like 2-B at best.
Even if we consider World of Awakening, World of Mystery, and World of New Mystery as simply time periods, there are still alternate versions of those worlds

I should probably go on about the multiverse somewhere

Also, Countless was only the first statement (maybe also the second, it's been a long time since they started saying infinite) ever made about the size of the multiverse, ever since then it was always "Infinite worlds" (not to mention that it has nothing to do with Azura's dream anyways)

Bump.

Also, me and Hans are pretty shecked at how Azura is now a glass cannon.

When was this accepted? The history page linking to that thread doesn´t give enought context.

Didn't realize there was a FE General Disscusion Thread

Guess I'm here to stay now, then. Always like me some FE

I will start my first post with something that we can all agree on and isn't at all controversial: "Heroes should scale to canon"

New FE5 translation? Sounds pretty awesome. I heard that game has a lot in common with Path of Radiance.

Just cracking wise about the debate some people have about who FEH characters should scale.

I didn't hear about the FE5 translation though, that's actually great news, makes the game a bit easier to pick up now, neat!

Lemme just drop the datamined text for Rokkr Sieges

Loki: Hee-hee... THAT went well. Go on then, you darling monstrosity. Destroy the world, and drag your friends down with you...

Thórr: Loki. What are you doing?

Loki: Now isn't THIS a rare treat? What brings you here, my dear?

Thórr: I scented one of your foul schemes.

Loki: It's so nice that you recognize my genius... Even if you can't quite grasp it. These lost, defeated souls that wander the realms... I just want to give them a fighting chance. I had the thought to scoop them up together. Into, well...a sort of Hero, I suppose. Do you have a better idea? Well? Do you?

Thórr: I mislike your attitude, Loki. Do not speak ill of those who fell in battle. For their ideals...they gave their all.

Loki: And so they did. Yet you'd see them trapped here for eternity, drenched in regret? Soldiers would rather meet a much more decisive end—don't you think?

Thórr: You never learn, Loki. You must know that I will be forced to report this scheme.

Loki: Oh my. Bound by responsibility...That's you all over, isn't it?

Thórr: Don't toy with me, Loki. There is work to be done, yet you play, knowing full well your duties are far too important to ignore.

Loki: Yes, yes, yes... I know. Everything we do is for him... He who created everything. Alfa├░ör.

So from the very moment he's mentioned, Alfa├░ör is probably/definitely 2-A

Im having trouble finding a scan or anything about shadow dragon medeus having defeated naga in the past. Doesnt matter how much i search, i see nothing of the sort anywhere. Does anyone have a link to where its from? Or if it even exist at all?

It came from the extended lore of Mystery of the Emblem; though, not sure where specifically. I know Serenes Forest mentions it.

A link would be nice and so would a source. If there is none then the validity of the statement is questionable. Its even more questiomable that there is nothing anywhere of the sort from the wiki as well, amd the wiki is the last place i would search for these kinds of info.

Code:
Im just gonna quote the wiki, and later oll write down my findings
"While the rest of the Earth Dragons, along with many dragons, pridefully rejected the notion of becoming humans, whom many dragons viewed as insects unfit to rule in their stead, Medeus was the only one that chose to take on a Manakete form, thus being spared from degenerating into madness. The degeneration of the Earth Dragons caused a great war between them and Naga's Divine Dragon tribe, resulting in the Earth Dragons being sealed away underneath the Dragon's Table" naga placed medeus to guard the sealed earth dragons, as he was still sane by that time, and she died shortly after giving birth to tiki.

She died before medeus went mad, so she never fought him.

Changing the topic tho... I DID NOT KNOW OF HER BEING PLAYABLE IN FEH. And I missed an opportunity to get her... ****. Is she any good to who ever has her?

I didn't get Naga either, but her ability to give adjacent units effective damage vs Dragons seems really good by itself

The 2-A stuff is looking good, who'd thought Fire Emblem would be the first Nintendo verse to take the crown from Pokemon though?

Wait... so any one can be a dragon slayer?... that sounds broken. Little anyone can be effective against dragon units. Tho I imagine there has to be some restrictions. Does it only work when you are adjacent to her? What if you move after getting the ability?

I can't wait to make an Alfa├░ör page, too bad all the info we have on him is a single line of dialogue

Also, what's everyone's opinions on the new Three Houses trailer?

She grants it to adjacent allies at the start of each turn

Three Houses looks absolutely phenomenal to me. I'm looking forward to enjoying the game first, but feats come later. But even better would be any possible connections to other games based on story/lore.

The story sounds very good honestly. I'm really looking forward to it. Those if I'm being honest, some of the character designs look rather meh.

I guess Corrin and co. may have resistance to probability manipulation due to not being cursed with bad luck from the gold in that one DLC (which was explicitly stated to be)

Three House's shift in art style will take some getting used to, I'm not quite on board with all the designs, but everything still looks really good. I'm hoping it lives up to the hype I'm building for it.

I actually really like how the school setting was used up until now to disguise a much darker story post timeskip (I'm also really liking the timeskip designs)
