Final Fantasy V revision: Abilities out the Wazoo

If The Everlasting said that it is acceptable, it should be fine to apply, yes.

Bumping this again

Also they should have the ability to interact with nonexistance since even prior to Neo Exdeath The Warriors of Dawn were able to hold back the void so it's somewhat consistent

I do not know. Sorry.

@Genericsticksman: Ah sorry, had missed your post. I personally can't give an answer, I am not good with reality, concept or metaphysical related stuff >_>. But I'll ask for input tonight.

Thank you.

Is there anything left to do here, or should I close this thread?

I'll ask in a couple of hours for more input. But looking up for more information about Oracles, Fate Manipulation doesn't sound too certain. It contradicts the unpredictable and random nature of their Predict ability which is a random effect that can hurt friend or foe, or how some enemies or bosses are immune to Condemn, as well as Read Ahead which only diminishes Random Encounters instead of avoiding them altogether. Fate Manipulation would work around those two caveats.

If anything, it seems Precognition and playing it around so it hurts the foes. This also ties with Predict and Read Ahead which also seem to tie with the ability to foresee events.

Still, I'll ask about it later on and let you know.

You can ask Tarta about The Everlasting via his message wall.

Sorry, had a pretty busy weekend with IRL duties and some issues. Tonight I'll be able to properly ask about the pending issues. Apologies for the delay.

@Genericstickman: Question, where is it mentioned that the Void lacks past and future? If you can link me a source I can discuss better the deal regarding Acausality. Thanks in advance!

I did ask about it, but Ever had to go before reaching a conclusion and hasn't been around since, likely is busy IRL. The other members do agree more or less agree on Acausality, but it fits Type 2 better than Type 4. We just need the final input to make sure.

From what I understood it ties with what Enuo says about being nothing, no future and no past, but also how they can be still affected and defeated in the present moment.

Is there anything that shows the Type 4 definitions and a cause and effect process that's different from what's established in the game? I don't remember well, but there weren't any time travel or past or future time related events in the game, correct?

Okay, sorry for the delays. Ever also believes Type 2 Acausality is alright, so it should be good to go.

Regarding Fate Manipulation, it was considered that the Oracles' description wasn't strong enough evidence for it, but it does give them a solid precognition.

What TE accepted can probably be applied then.

Has TE commented yet?
Yeah, as I mentioned he said Acausality was fine but it fits better in Type 2 rather than 4. He also said that the Oracle's description and abilities fit better for Precognition rather than full out Fate Manipulation

Okay. That seems fine to apply then.

Now all we need to do is have ever okay the Low 2-C FF revisions
What about this?

This wasn't part of the topic, from what I get. Zephyros only commented about abilities and made a separate one for discussing tiers. Even then it was discussing a 2-A upgrade. I think he means the Low 2-C revisions for the FF1 cast whose proposal is being worked on?

Aha. Is there anything left to do here, or should I close this thread?
