Just wondering how one should go about calculating feats involving characters who are able to do such things, examples off the top of my head would be Saitama's "death punch" and various other shonen feats. I have some links which I believe are relevant to this, found them from this video.

Personally I would go with inverse square law and not more.

Characters in fiction have ways of creating shockwaves in unrealistic manners and equalizing them to TNT explosions is quesionable.

Edit: Well, in regards to certain amounts of destruction caused we are of course already using the nuke calculators to quantify such things.

Mmm, I think that the first link (formulas) derive from dinamic pressure formula, but I think is when the air cut some liquids (?); I already made a blog about explosion physics, from these equation derive the typical constant of radius/tnt weight; I'm more interested in the shockwave velocity, since is a common feat in fiction, but there's too much variables, and I can barely see the document.

Hmm. No reply to my question yet.
