Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest Discussion Thread: Post-Void Saga

@clp
Do you agree that Lost Magic in Fairy Tail multiplies the user's power hundreds of times? This is proven in Chapter 1 of Fairy Tail, where Natsu fights the fake Salamander, and we see that Natsu's fire is far superior to his opponent’s. Also, Gray explains that adding the Lost aspect/magic multiplies the user's power hundreds of time

And since Dragon Slayer is one of the Lost Magics/Aspects, it means its users also receive the multiplier as do other Lost Magic users.

Probably not tbh
What do you think?

But couldn’t this also be a multiple of the user’s magic? And who knows, maybe it could also enhance Attack potential or speed?
No, because no one directly adds the Lost Aspect during the series. They either already have it or they don't. It absolutely doesn't multiply speed either.

This would only be a buff to Gray with Lost Iced Shell, which is a self-sacrificing move anyway

Is there a good powerscaling tier list format for Fairy Tail (i.e. one with labelled variants of the characters representing their different forms and arcs)? The closest I can find is this one but it has barely any keys for the characters so it's not very useful.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, examples of other verses are this, this, this, etc

I've never seen one like those personally. You might have to make it

There's like, a High 4-C feat, maybe a 4-A feat, and a Low 2-C feat
Altho it's funny becouse there are many verses we accept as universal yet they barely destroy the surroundings during their fights.

But apparently only applies to DB becouse of the "ki control thing" when many characters from other pieces of fiction can do the same.

Nor that it matters, many people outside the wiki do scale FT to Universal+ or High 3-A

If there are feats and good argument, then sure it can be accepted

Yeah because Attack Potency =/= Destructive Capacity, it'd be stupid to say "well they're not nuking universes with every attack therefore they can't be Universe level"

However there's a difference between that and a genuine outlier. Fairy Tail is clearly intended as a planetary level verse

Can anyone explain why Zeref's regen is only "low godly, possible mid godly", instead of straight up mid godly

Shouldn't base Azuma be 6-C?

He cut down the Sirius Tree before connecting to it, this upgrades practically every relevant X784 character.

Oh hey, I didn't realize you were on here too lol. Thought it was just spacebattles

Quick thoughts on the tree cutting. I was re-reading these chapters a while back and I don't think this can scale to base azuma exactly the way you claim. Azuma expresses disappointment that he can't continue fighting Erza the same way and that "time was up" explaining that the power of his lost magic was about controlling the earth and he was sent their 1st to take control of the island and directly after he says that, the tree falls

Tldr: It took time to put the tree under his control and once he does, since he's under orders by hades, he cuts the tree down once he gains control of the island

You misunderstood, Azuma has to break the tree's protection to access the island's magic, that's why he cuts it down. I'll send the Japanese raw in the translation thread just in case.

Yeah please send the raws, cause the implication from the text in the English volume seems to imply that Azuma took control of the magic of Sirius and therefore cut down the tree in the process. Cause if he could just cut it down whenever, then we wouldn't have needed to send Azuma there before everyone else, nor would Hades have said it took a long time as well as Azuma being upset that his time with Erza was up, wanting a fair fight with her

The raws could provide a different context though, so please do drop them

I'll go send it to the translation thread.

Hades himself only states that Azuma obtained the island's magic after he cut down the Sirius Tree.

I don't think this necessarily implies that the magic was under Azuma's control after the tree was brought down though. If anything, you can make a crt out of it and try to get some more feedback on it. I'm just one opinion

Why don't we use the 181.4 Petaton end for Etherion, I see no to not do so considering that Etherion can destroy any country

I wonder the same thing all the time. Might be the site sees more fit to use an average instead of a whole if that makes sense

Ok we have add stat notes for these characters, I'm tired of going back and forth between pages to discern who scales to which values
