I think we have truly reached the peak of Vs Debating here.

Funny how FFVII is a borderline caricature of this whole thing with the Remake continuity. From planet to universe to multiverse, Sephiroth being made overpowered being a meme by this point. Even ditching the more grounded themes and morals of the original game for over the top grandiose sounding crap like "defying destiny".

Monogatari will never succumb to this rot. About 30 books in with only two characters reaching above destroying parts of buildings (mountains and planets respectively).
