For the record the OMG particle was travelling at 0.9999999999999999999999951 times the speed of light

We cap it at 0.93c, actually. It's because that value is around 4x newtonian KE. Someone else tried bumping the cap up to 7x newtonian KE, but that thread died down.

Oh, welp, not sure how much the OMG particle's speed with a 62 kg human moving at that would be in terms of multiples of Newtonian KE
