Expanding the References for Common Feats page

You mean right here [in bold]?
  • Normal human vision
    • 1.7 / 10^-3 = 1700
    • V = sqrt(1700*9.81) = 129.14 m/s
    • KE = 129.14^2 x 0.5 x 70 = 583,690 Joules, Wall level
  • Peak human vision
    • 1.7 / (4 x 10^-4) = 4250
    • V = sqrt(4250*9.81) = 204.19 m/s
    • KE = 204.19^2 x 0.5 x 70 = 1.4592e6 Joules, Wall level
  • Superhuman vision
    • 1.7 / (2 x 10^-4) = 8500
    • V = sqrt(8500*9.81) = 288.77 m/s
    • KE = 288.77^2 x 0.5 x 70 = 2.9184e6 Joules, Wall level
Are we sure there aren't any values that need to be adjusted?
On second thought.... No we aren't. The characters are usually still flying when they become a twinkle in the sky. Here's the Projectile Motion calculator if you want: https://www.omnicalculator.com/physics/projectile-motion

Set the distance to cm for the most accurate results.

Does thia mean even Dale's calc needs adjustments?
@Dalesean027 would you make a blog to be evaluated with your calc and the required adjustments, if needed?
Thank you in advance 🙏🏻

Well, both the OG calc and Dale's lifting strength additions will need to be adjusted. I personally recommend the distances we already listed as a halfway point.
btw for the recalc of this we're just operating with the distances doubled since they are still airborne during these feats right? if I'm understanding correctly then everything else should stay the same as far as the method used to get the KE and LS. Just making sure before I blog it

Yes. For safety reasons we need at least two calc group members evaluating and accepting a calculation before it can be added to our standard feats page though, and if a new calculation is suggested to replace a previous identical feat there, both calculations need to be evaluated in a calc group forum discussion thread as usual. 🙏
Ok so, we need another person to greenlight the new calc for LS and a new thread to replacing the former version that calcs AP with the new, right?

The calculations here that several calc group members have respectively accepted, and none of them have disagreed with, can probably be added to our references for common feats page now. 🙏

That seems like a borderline case, given that it has not received clear approval and is also intended to replace an already accepted and practically used calculation. So you will have to present (link to) both your version and the currently used version within a separate discussion thread in our calc group forum, so our calc group members can evaluate which of them that seems most reliable. 🙏

Is it possible to calculate the energy required for feats/claims like 'X can power a city/country/town for N amount of years'?

Nice, would be cool as a common reference feat since if i recall theres quite a lot of feats/statements that mention/rely on city/town/country levels of electricity power

What do we currently need to do here? And which accepted calculations need to be added to our standard feats page? 🙏

Nothing yet I'll have to actually do this for some common bigger cities or countried to make it usable

Could do a few ends with different prominent cities or like the output of certain countries

I'll just repost here to be safe + because H3 asked to ask peeps here.

Firstly, this exists:

Need help calculating + scaling this in comparison with this:

Secondly, about these:

These should be taken into consideration because only C3 to C7 were included so far in the current References For Common Feats page + tearing/ripping off (pulling off) and cutting off (severing off) heads are different (if anyone can find calculations for them):

(cutting off head, mostly referring to doing so with weapons or machines)

(internal detachment of skull from spine/internal decapitation)

(breaking C1 vertebra)

(breaking C2 vertebra)

Also, for KE this also exists:

4.2×10^27 J
Kinetic energy of a regulation baseball thrown at the speed of the Oh-My-God particle, itself a cosmic ray proton with the kinetic energy of a baseball thrown at 60 mph (~50 J).

Using relativistic KE calculators and substituting the baseball with a 62kg human, the KE of a 62kg human travelling at the speed of the Oh-My-God particle would be 1.780000226233011495669336498801e+30 = 1,780,000,226,233,011,495,669,336,498,801 joules

so this can also be updated (not sure why the peak speed was 0.92c when there are particles travelling quite a bit closer to the speed of light relatively)
(lel relatively)

For the record the OMG particle was travelling at 0.9999999999999999999999951 times the speed of light
