Enlightened One vs Asura

Let’s end all arguments here and now on who is stronger.

Technically, they had their final fight in the game where it ends with Shez slaying Byleth and thus putting an end to their rivalry permanently. However, that was Sothis controlling Byleth who not only lack Byleth’s combat skills but had problems during the whole fight with controlling Byleth’s body.

So how would that final fight would have went with Byleth in full control of themselves against Shez after the latter had killed Jeralt?

Standard Battle Assumptions

20 meters apart

Location: Ailell, the Valley of Torment (Basically Scarlet Blaze Chapter 14 campaign)

The Enlightened One (Male Byleth- the best Byleth and I will fight anyone who disagree)

Asura (Female Shez because opposite gender from Byleth):

Byleth should win since Shez barely defeated a Byleth that was actively holding Sothis back

Voting Byleth.

This is Byleth at their peak, so they not only have full access to Sothis’ powers, they also have the Sword of the Creator. I’m pretty sure at multiple points in the story, Shez also expresses doubt that they could realistically beat Byleth, and that’s them without the Sword of the Creator.

Byleth might have some trouble tagging Shez due to their teleportation and such at first, but if push comes to shove, then Byleth can just rewind time and they would now have full knowledge of what Shez is going to do.
