In wrath if the Emilia from the before regaining her powers key managed to skewer Reinhard with her icicle. How do we interpret this

Wasn't the Reinhard in wrath incredibly nerfed? IIRC his divine protections were weakened so it could be that his physical prowess was also weaker than in the canon. Not to mention he was already badly damaged by Cecilus.

Divine Protections dont grant him physical prowess according to WoG
His dura would also not simply get neefed to 8B just becuz he bled against Cecilus. Heck bleeding makes him stronger

Not saying his physical prowess got nerfed by divine protections, more like the wrath version might have been weaker than the canon one in general for some unknown reasons. It would also justify why Cecilus was able to damage him so much.
But yeah I agree with this. Honestly I just passed it off as PIS, as Re:Zero tends to have alot of that with its scaling. For example Subaru reacting faster than Reinhard to Elsa in Arc 1. Emilia damaging Rein doesn't really make sense in the first place.

1. They are if stories, the same characters in different settings. Cecilus is narratively implied to go against Reinhard to some dègree using his swords that doesnt change.
2. His blessing of projectile protection was off due to the pleideas castle which let Emilia unconsciously hit him. I dont know if this is PiS or not

Isn't it clearly stated that Emilia did it unknowingly and DP's did not react because she wasn't technically hostile knowingly? Not to mention Reinhard wasn't putting any guard against her. Plus his DP's are weakened.
There are many reasons why Emilia was able to achieve that including PiS and Tappei just wanting without care.

Were it an attack holding hostility and intent to kill, Reinhardt’s intuition would not be evaded. Or, in the case his Divine Protections were working properly, sure enough, Reinhardt’s defense would not have been pierced either.
But this place was Pandemonium, and Emilia herself could not make up her own mind―― That had, in Reinhardt, left a fatal gap.
Let's close this. There are a crazy amount of reasons why he couldn't block it before we even consider giving her that feat.

I wasnt wondering how she hit him, pandemonium basically nulled Reins DPs and he didnt sense any hostility so he never got a chance to block it as you said.
However Reinhards base durability is calced to be atleast city level
And yeah have somebdiy close this
