It rolls on the ground and unlike the shield lightning bolts it doesn't come from the sky.
Now I'm not saying we can't use lightning scaling. We use it for Sekrio and in my view the lightning catches the people in Elden Ring can do probably indicate a MHS+ rating with the same assumptions (assuming no magical guiding bs).
Though the easiest way to make sure the scaling isn't weird is to find the earliest enemy/boss that can catch lightning and scale to that.

Lanseaxx at the start of the alt entrance to Atlus I think is the first who can catch lightning?

If so then that's pretty easy. We just scale people who can consistently battle Ancient Dragons to that level or something.

Because its a self generated lightning incantation, rather than a cloud to ground bolt. They're treated as different speeds in the game.

Do the in game stats treat it as such? If so then using Lansseax is fine. All Midgame stuff scales to Lanseaxx
BTW, does Transonic have a calculation? I kinda preferred if we did tbh.

She does indeed grab it literally,
And her arm visibly moves while it's moving. But the angle of that PV is a bit eh. Though she's also not really trying to make huge movements.
Fortisaxx's lightning grab or even the Tarnished's might be better.

I edited in to my comment, but here is how I would write it
The two scans in the middle would just need to be converted into a gif. Though we may want to use Vyke since the Dragon Lightning spear comes from Azula while Vyke is battled before that.

Vyke can be listed in the late game key.
But since the Tarnished's page is far from done, how should we list it for the demigods? Like Rykard and such?

- Morgott, Mohg, Rykard, Prime Radahn and Malenia: Battled after Lanseax and can just scale to her. I don't know where we place the "Correct" timing for the Fia fight, but my assumption would be that bare minimum the Fire Giant, Malenia, Mohg and Prime Radahn would scale to Fortisax.
- Current Radahn: The summoned NPC Okina was considered to be irrelevant to the battle by people like Blaidd and Okina has fought Mohg before. So the scaling here would be something like "Capable of battling a multitude of powerful fighters at once, including Okina who has battled Mohg in the past"

Now that we have MHS+ Elden Ring, we should get FTL ELden Ring via dodging Moonveil and Maliketh's attacks and Radahn's gravity magic reaching stars./srs

Also I should mention the Class K scaling comes from Radahn and not the Golems, who are only Class 50.

Thinking on it maybe for Maliketh we could mention that you needed his power to actually break the Thorns of the Erdtree, which not even Morgott could break despite (presumably) a vast amount of attempts to do so.

Maliketh's power of Destined Death us what you needed to be able to fell a god like Marika and the Elden Beast. Not sure if that could be used as an AP justification or if that's just because it's a hax power

Probably both tbh. Though consider you need the rune of death just to beat the Elden Beast, that makes scaling a bit wacky
