  • Both are High 7-A
  • Speeds are equalized
  • Raiden Shogun will be fighting
  • Battle takes place under the Statue of the Omnipresent God
  • SBA otherwise
Edelgard:

Ei:

AP is about dead-even given that Baal scales to 1.32 gigatons while Edelgard scales to 1.33 gigatons

Yeah, whoever made that profile was wrong. Shogun is NOT High 7-A. She's definitely at least 6-C. She vaporized a huge chunk of an island by accident once. This is a mismatch unless Edelgard has some notable hax.

Vaporizing a huge chunk of an island was done with the Musou no Hitotachi. I also agree with her being 6-C since she should at the very least scale above Andrius' 6-C feat.

Anyway, Edal got out skilled, out ap, her spell is useless since what she's fighting can be replace and her spell are limited, and since Raiden have no reason to pull Edal into her realm, Edal would just get outlasted by the shogun. All in all Raiden take this or stomp.

For the record, Edelgard does have her own spatial Manip with Luna, so she can also ignore durability, plus some paralysis and life stealing hax as well that works on inorganic beings

Still, afaik there's a massive skill gap plus ei can musuo no hitotachi due to a massive skill gap and can dura ignore too, as well as just repair herself since she can project her consciousness into the real world as well as use it to create a new body.

how long does it take for Ei to reform Raiden?
SBA indicates if a participant is incap and is unable to influence or harm the other participants for a whole day it would count as win.

other than that Raiden wouldn't hesitate to go ahead and use musuou no hitotachi

Does Edelgard leads with using Luna or not?

This is just a mismatch anyways, Edelgard is being used as a High 7-A and Ei is just 6-C

Also there's 2 High 7-A Edelgards, which one is this? I'm assuming base because Luna keeps getting mentioned

In her About Us: Protector voiceline she is completely unconcerned about the idea of the Raiden Shogun breaking down and says that she can simply get a replacement. I don't think that we know how long getting or making a replacement would last but it presumably is nothing that would cause Ei problems, so we can assume that it is fairly easy for her to do and that it wouldn't last long enough for there to be serious problems in Inazuma in relation to a missing Raiden Shogun.

edelgard via superior skill
"In terms of combat, Ei is the progenitor of all Inazuman martial arts revolving around the sword and spear, and her mastery is considered unparalleled even in the modern day; the pinnacle of her skill being referred to as a symbol of ultimate power." (https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Raiden_Shogun_(Genshin_Impact))

Based on Edelgard's profile she seems to be well-trained and to have a keen strategic mind but can she match or surpass someone in skill who is the inspiration for entire branches of martial arts in a country and is considered the pinnacle of skill in the modern day? It's also worth noting that Ei is one of the victors of a war between gods that happened 2000 years ago, defended her country against outside threats ever since and still makes the effort to preserve or improve her skills.
