Speed is equalized, both are 8-C, and the battle takes place in the Cul-De-Sac. Gerald is driving a semi, and also has a pair of backup rollerblades to strap on in case the truck explodes.

I don't think the act of colliding with Ed is guaranteed to cause an explosion on its own. Explosions seem to happen when he runs into buildings or other really solid shit, not people.

Anyways, the street doesn't seem to have much going for it as for things of mass destruction, but, Ed doesn't exactly have resistance to mind manipulation, so he probably just throws himself at the truck constantly until one of two things happens

He dies

Dr Gerald's Vehicles die, then Ed beats him to death

All the destruction Dr. Gerald causes is accidental, if not passive, and he did his 8-C feat with some rollerblades.

Dr. Gerald is, in this battle, is intentionally trying to murder Ed and is driving a Semi-Truck. I think the level of damage inflicted on Ed because he literally throws himself in front of a bomb with wheels will be severe enough to outright kill Ed.

Then again, toon force is wacky. I don't know who to vote for right now, so I'm gonna wait for more arguments.

Physical speed wouldn't matter if Ed was up against a Supersonic+ truck.

His mindhax only extends to making people jump in front of his vehicles. It isn't like Star Wars where he can just tell Ed to go home and be a family man.
