No, Big Gete Star was destroyed along with last little piece of Cooler (That can be seen in the core form), when he returned he regained his body and transformed. This applies to the non canon continuity where Frieza regained his body and not the metal one in pieces.

Defense in the movies still happen because of Canon for the most part. For example M08 Broly would scale off of Cell, because Cell still happened in any universe. While Hirudegarn and Janemba scale off of Buu, etc.

Not only are you basing your entire suggestion on a theory, your theory is actually wrong as shown by the fact that Goku can go Kaio ken x20 / 10, something he could only go to during the fight with Frieza.

He can't go SSJ nor use the Spirit Bomb, just the Spirit Blast. Goku likely trained a lot and can use thatvKaioken, but it doesn't mean he has performed the feat.
