So, Episode 62 will show a 3-A Trunks and 63 a 3-A Vegeta.

Normally yes. The synopsis says something about Trunks who keeps up with black GOku and Zamasu while Vegeta and Goku return to the past to find a way to beat them (they realize they can't bust just fighting them head-on). Piccolo says there might be a way.

He is most likely refering to the mafuba but that would be weird because even Piccolo during the 23rd tenkaichi budokai countered the mafuba.

Ep 63's synopsis says Trunks fought both black Goku and Zamasu, but Black Goku continued to evolve and severely harmed Trunks. Just before he is killed, Goku and Vegeta returned from the past. We do not have synopsis for other episodes yet, just titles.
