Calculation that Doomsday released 989.291 megatons is incorrect. First error is using nuclear energy. When hit by nuclear bomb, Doomsday didn`t absorbe energy from nuclear bomb and he didn`t release same energy. When he was attacked by military helicopters and the fired at him hellfire missiles for example, he started to glow and released shockwave that destroyed helicopters and damaged nearby buildings around him. The same shockwave is identical to second one after he got hit by nuclear bomb. Same form of elctrical like outburst. Only difference is in strength of shockwave. He didn`t release nuclear energy. He released energy that is like those he fires from the eyes. It is solar energy not nuclear. And comparing it to energy released from nuclear bomb is wrong. If he absorbed energy from nuclear bomb, then what energy he absorbed from hellfire missiles? Or when Superman throw him in that facilty lather on the port? Energy from gasoline? He evolves when he is damaged. That is why shockwaves grow stronger. Like William Birkin in Resident evil. When you injure him it evolves into stronger form. All that he absorbes energy is based on sentence said by Wonder Woman.

No. I say that he does not absorbs kinetic energy. It is wrong assumption. When he gets injured he starts to mutate and releases shockwave. I dont know why. If he released 989 megatons he would destroy entire Metroplois. He only destroyed few city blocks. I am saying that calculation is wrong. He did fire pretty amazing shockwaves, but they are not near to 989 megatons.

False. Doomsday is explictly described as capable of absorbing energy and reproducing it. "It feeds on energy". So if it was hit with a nuclear bomb, it absorbed nuclear energy.

And? That just shows he absorbs whatever type of energy and utilizes it as raw power.

Solar Energy and Nuclear Energy are still energy. And as Doomsday was just hit with a nuke, we can use Nuclear Energy for the calculation, as that would be the type of energy he'd be releasing.

He absorbs energy, regardless of type. The movie states that he gets stronger the more you hit him because he is absorbing energy, feeding on it. It's very clear.

He does, he gets stronger from being punched around by Supes and Wonder Woman, and after having his arm sliced his arm grows back as a gigantic spear-like claw, showing he adapts and increases in strength to all types of physical energy.

Firstly: Fiction. Secondly: AoE Fallacy. Thirdly: What Doomsday fired was akin to a cilindrical-shaped nuclear fireball, which went all the way to space. The actual explosion is much higher than just Metropolis, but focused.

You seem to have no idea of what you are talking about.
