Go for BDE type 2 Hell. you can most likely do it.

It wont help with a tier but it's better than nothing and is something you can work with since theres already a basis for atleast BDE type 1.

Its gonna end up the same way. I will wait weeks upon weeks for some admin to come, disagree and then a lot of people or other staff will come and disagree making the thread thrash.

I will probably just leave Doom, its not worth it

Just try for BDE you'll most likely get more replies since its not a tier 1 upgrade.
