Nope, i said she probably is 2-D because of how she interacts with the real life player, references real life and the 3-D world. I'm saying she is not tier 2 because there is no evidence that they are universe sized, since its a game world

Doki Doki verse is canonically not the "real world" or a fictional equivalent, so we cannot assume it contains 3-A universes without either a statement or some kind of proof.

@DragonEmperor23 It doesn't really matter, as long as they are different timelines/universes, there shouldn't be any problems.

Monika is just aware that her universe is a fake, 2-Dimensional video game from our perspective, most of the questions in this thread have already been answered in another thread.

She says her reality.

But her reality isn't the same as the RW reality, so it shouldn't be assumed to contain a 3-A structure.

I mean her world.

@YungManzi Of course it's not the same, all fiction is technically 2-D from our perspective, and once again, you need to prove that her reality is not a real universe like in any other work of fiction.

It's ridiculous to think that every verse has to prove that its reality is the size of a universe.

No not every verse has to prove it, but DDLC is self aware, meta and references the real world and the fact that she is just a video game character. Though i don't care about arguing wether or not she is 2-D, the issue is the assumed "World=Universe"

@Therefir

Not what I'm saying, I'm saying that because it is a meta narrative and because it is canonically not comparable to the real world, you cannot assume that the universe is the same size as a real world universe, the two are canonically completely different.

There are a lot verses with characters aware that their realities are fake, that they are just works of fiction. Do they have to prove that their realities are universe-sized? No, not at all.

@YungManzi And where was canonically stated that Monika's universe is not comparable in size to the real world in her perspective?

They definitely should, and so should Doki Doki.

They should to be honest, feats and statements exist for a reason. Right now from what i'm seeing Monika is tier 4, again if we just assume then Kaguya is tier 4 too, or DBZ is tier 2 thanks to the Hyperbolic timechamber

@LightinAnt Bad comparison, the Hyperbolic timechamber was stated to be the size of a planet.

@YungManzi It would be a mirror of the other thread, but you can do it if you want, we have derailed this thread enough.

So, the powers and stuff were good, right? If so, can someone unlock me the necessary profiles?

The flies are actually called "unierse", from what i recall.

And if it's a "timeline" or "universe", it can't be 4-A.

And there's no proff that their world is actually far different from out universe. The original game was supposed" to take place in a real-life-like setting.

Powerrs are good, responded to the downgrade thread, but since others don't seem to be there:

She quiet litirally says time doesn't exist after she completly broke the script. That means that doki has time in it, which then means that at the end of the game she areased a reality that is a space-time. That means that she is low 2-C, regardless of the size of the universe within said space time.

Also, why the heck does Sayori have Monika's brand of non-existence?

@YungManzi In the end the thread became a mirror of the other one, discussing about 11-A DDLC.

By the way, I agree with the changes proposed by the OP, but Monika should be 10-A instead of 10-B, given by the player's statement.

I believe that the Player means that she's good at sports, not that she's as strong as your average boxer.

I mean, Light Yagami is 10-A via playing tennis and punching a weirdo.

She probably is still just average human level physically, my hobby irl is playing soccer with my friends and i'm certainly good at sports, doesn't mean i'm an athlete

Wait, really?

I mean, with Jojo it somewhat makes sense since most characters tend to be drawn with muscles and stuff.

The punch was pretty damn impressive man.

I also honestly don't know how strong or weak a 10-B can get with an exemple. Yeah, I know the joules, but apparently someone with the body of a 9 year old qualifies, and an impressive punch works for 10-A.

Pretty sure Monika is stated to be in her early 20s or 18, Natsuki is 18
They all are 18 as far as I know.

But age doesn't really matter when aced with the reality that they do have the body of people younger in some cases.

...How tall is Natsuki?

Because I tough Monika was 180 and Natsuki was around 140 or something. Both are obviously wrong tough.

  • Monika is 160 cm tall
  • Yuri is 165 cm tall
  • Natsuki is 149 cm tall
  • Sayori is 157 cm tall.
They are all pretty short.

I'm pretty sure that Natsuki's art depicts her as more than 10 centimeters lower than monika, but who cares.

It's the art style that makes the character look taller than they actually are (except for Natsuki, lol).

But to be fair, most anime/anime art styles tend to be like that.

Yeah, exept for loli's. Poor Natsuki, the art doesn't hide her being stunted in growth due to being abused.

This is so sad, can we get a like?
