Do characters with elasticity automatically have Mid-Level regen? Or is it more so a case by case situation?

So say that a character can squish/turn themselves flat, but they can still die from stuff such as decapitation, or blunt force trauma. Would this count as Mid-Level regen, or is it just a feat of elasticity?

I think we don't make this a default; it's not like their naturally solid skeleton. Mid Regen's baseline is that if your brain is destroyed or severed and they can grow their brain back.

I'm talking about a feat like this. This character does have a natural skeleton, but was able to comeback after being crushed almost flat. Or is this more so a feat of shapeshifting?

That just seems like size manipulation. I wouldn't compare that to a regeneration feat. I'd normally apply Mid Regen it to character who can get their heads cut off from attacks they didn't see coming or from falling objects that smash and flatten them. I think a 4th wall gag of an Editor altering your size wouldn't be considered that.
