Do all Undertale attacks one shot?

I remember years ago hearing people say that attacks one shot any character who hasn’t shown to be capable of surviving attacks that hit their souls (so just most fictional characters in general). But then people disagreed on that, I remember one person disagreed on a Cuphead VS Asgore fight which led to Cuphead winning, eventually I heard more people debating on whether they do one shot or not.

And now I just want to ask, what was our conclusion on that? I always knew Sans’s attacks don’t one shot and only bypass durability. But putting Sans aside, do they one shot? Yes or no?

Their soul resistance is literally taking it like how one takes physical damage

That's because San's attacks ignore game mechanics such as durability frames

But uhhh… have we not come to a proper conclusion on this then? Must be difficult to make a match involving Undertale/Deltarune characters then (unless their opponent doesn’t have a soul of course).

Their soul manipulation doesn't one shot, they simply kill 'really fast'. there isn't a number on how fast.

the reason being no one in the verse has one shot anyone using magic, besides omega flowey who did it using sheer AP than hax. it is assumed if you dont resist it you'll still be able to take a couple of hits from UT magic before being killed.

what? that just means everyone has resistance to soul attacks, theyve never done that because no one has ever attacked anyone with their soul manip who doesnt resist it

People have resistance to soul attacks because they take them as physical blows, not because they dont get one shot by them.

also, sans negs resistance to soul manipulation and still doesn't one shot, so take that as you will.

i was talking about how he dura negged a literal flower. something that doesn't have a soul.

but yes frisk's items can give them like, a second or so of invincibility frames.
