Eh Dragon's Dogma 2 is literally getting an expansion this year, hardly dormant. In all fairness, this could be said more accurately about most of Capcom's franchises.
Darkstalkers hasn't had an entry in ages and has had one of its protagonists revised into a different person by crossover material while Darkstalkers itself does nothing. Dragon's Dogma has been dormant as well. Rival Schools is essentially abandoned, as are God Hand, Dino Crisis and Asura's Wrath, to name just a few.

Death is ambigous in DMC, so is ressurection and regeneration. Then there sealing, which is also considered "death" and getting unsealed is considered "ressurection"
Like Gilver said, the terms are for some reason used interchangeably. This is suppose to be some lore inconsistency or mistranslation? Somebody pointed to me loooong ago that Dante apparently killed Mundus in DMC1
So Sparda is still "alive" then?
As Gilver already explained, sealing is killing too and unsealing is resurrection, Argosax too was said to revive when unsealed, Pluto was supposedly killed in the classic timeline, but he is just unsealed in PoC which likely implies the same thing. This is suppose to be some lore inconsistency or mistranslation? WrongPluto was supposedly killed in the classic timeline, but he is just unsealed in PoC which likely implies the same thing.
There's Sparda lore about being killed once but he resurrected according to legends from the Order of the Sword, and he wasn't sealed so perhaps similar principle applies.
The stripe on the shirt kind of looks like Lady's holsters and straps. It is kind of a likeness to her.![]()
This was taken around my area, she reminds me of Lady in the DMC5 era
