And yeah i forgot to mention the passives. Is also missing a bunch of passives too, so Dante can easely get more them 10 passives in the future making this even more unfair.
Fair points but should be istantly on DT since DMC5 mentions that Dante regen in a flash
Plus Vergil kinda got his body, name and even soul removed from Mundus and rejected the Nelo name until he was able to subdue him with the amulet, so even if he cannot regen istantly on human form, they still can funcion whitheout any of his parts so that won't be a problem here!

That's just Tony for you (believe me I've been dealing with his nonsense for a long time wink wink). But regardless, I can see Bayonetta mooping the floor with Dante but idk how can she ignore the passives around him via DE which are layered to hell and back...
Unless she decides to blast his ass away from a distance then that's kinda understandable. However, I should remind you that Dante in his SDT state (assuming he starts with it) does have passive time stop which she don't have any answer to as far as I remember soo I suppose you can say that all possible projectiles from afar wouldn't reach him whatsoever but then again, not available on the wiki atm.
Considering all this, I suppose it depends on how far the passives extends to and where they start from?

I forgot, what's the argument for this? Is it that every time he gets stronger = layered hax or something? (or maybe I'm confusing it with Castlevania)
Given the nature of the soul in DMC I think that the mid-godly regen are actually high godly in this verse

I wish to update it with new arguments but I believe there were having some discussions to remove layers as a whole from the wiki.

I only know it means they have a "stable" player base willing to drop a couple thousands in their game which means they are making money. I'm pretty sure their goal was something along the lines of Honkai/Genshin with their retardded gameplay system instead of the DMC one they had as it promotes more p2w stuff

It's like they saw the mistake it was to change DMC with the reboot to a less DMC-like game and thought "hey maybe if we take the whole DMC gameplay out then it will sell better!"

He was involved in the reboot and he tried to get rid of Dante in DMC4. Then he tried to resume the reboot and scrap the real series. If he'd gotten his way on any of these things he'd have killed the franchise.

People often ignore Itsuno's mistakes just coz he made DMC3 and DMC5.

Itsuno is the guy who keeps trying to flush Dante down the toilet and keeps getting stopped, and if he'd gotten his way the franchise would have gone down that same toilet. Sometimes the credit is given to the director with no regard for the ones who reign them in. George Lucas never would have struck it big if his wife hadn't edited the first Star Wars, and Peter Jackson tried to add some pretty stupid crap into the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Truth to be told, infact Itsuno approved DmC where you can see Dante at first trailer look like a crakhead and even smoking. Luckly fans complain are so bad they start to change that, even though it look like Tameem who self insert to Donte.
Lowkey he doesn't want Dante to be the face of DMC franchise, hell, if DMC 6 is made by him I wouldn't surprise Dante became much more hobo looking while Nero become better.

He did the same thing repeatedly. It's a pattern.
- He tried to make DMC4 just about Nero.
- He approved the reboot. Even while NT were openly attacking the audience.
- He told everyone that the sales of the Definitive compared to DMC4SE wouldn't impact the franchise's future, which was untrue. This blatant test, releasing the two simultaneously, was skewed (likely deliberately) in the reboot's favour by giving it both a physical and digital release while 4SE only got a digital one, and yet SE outsold reboot anyway. He probably believed what he was saying was the truth though, because he probably believed the reboot was going to be the future no matter what.
- He tried to make reboot 2 and had to be pushed to make DMC5.
- After DMC5 he happily announced that now that it was done he could finally make reboot 2, the one he clearly wanted to make more.

As of right now, Itsuno cant do any DMC6 since he left Capcom to form his own studio, plus he stated he wants to do more then DMC6 and other projects Capcom might have gave him
And i doubt Itsuno will return any soon to make a DMC6 if he got back with Capcom, clearly wants to do his own thing
Kamiya could possibly do a remake of DMC1 much like RE does if Capcom is willing to approve

DMC1 and 2 could both be remade. DMC3 and 4 could possibly get it too.
Because obviously Capcom needs to go the Hollywood route of just making lots of remakes...
