Yeah, you'd be right to wring my neck if I said what I wanted to say because it'd just be an example of me "not knowing when to shut up" and starting a pointless argument (so is this, I guess?)

I'm curious though. But I don't think this is a convo to have in the Chapter 5 Deltarune thread

Btw, what flower items did y'all buy in your routes?

Personally think that Purple (Seth), Green and Yellow are the best for any route

The Blue and Orange weapons for ralseis and Susie, are not that good as overall acting works better for sparring enemies, with bosses it happens that it's even the only way, and other weapons have more attack

Aqua knife has less attack than the black shard, and the CRIT chance can just be practiced, so even in violent route it may not be that good

Yellow hat is good as the 20% magic would be useful in any future fight where violence is needed

Thinking about, doesn't the sun seems the same size when you first see it from faraway in the cliffs (with the castle in front being so far away that Flowery moving asgores and then himself there from the cliff makes a small particle of 1px to 3px)

And it's still seems the same size when you see it from anywhere in the castle? For that you'd need a massive sun that a about 1 kilometer distance closer doesn't changes it's hundred of pixels wide size at all

1. Yellow Hat: +4 all stats, spells are 20% stronger, armour for anyone
2. Green Apron: +7 DF, heals 16% HP when defending, armour for anyone
3. Blue Shoes: +2 AT, +4 DF, +6 MG, 0 TP cost for Pacify, weapon for Ralsei
4. Seth Specs: +4 DF, +6 MG, higher invulnerability time, armour for Kris, Susie & Ralsei
5. Orange Glove: +4 AT, +8 DF, Scythemare TP halved, armour for Susie & Noelle
6. Aqua Knife: +10 AT, +2 DF, easier crits, weapon for Kris & Noelle

Blue weapon for Ralsei increases his DF by 4 and Magic by 6 which makes it very useful actually

I did pick exactly what you did as I didn't know the stat values for each weapon.

The sun/background is fake. It fades to black as soon as Asgore stops believing in it. And it's not a sunset, because the sun was already below the horizon during the Omega Flowery fight (he brings it up himself)

Also the Sun is shown to be small when the fox turns into it.

Yeah, she 100% does. Susie and Ralsei both heal him if you try to attack him. If Ralsei is still in the party, Susie will only heal ~75, but when he's out of the party she heals him to max no matter how much damage is dealt to him

heard from someone that if you disable VOICE CLIPs in the CONFIG MENU you actually can't re-enable them for some time (the game switches it back off after a frame), or at least it didn't work for them. probably not an ability you can assign to a character, though. might just be to make that sequence easier to program.

I imagine ralsei being implied to be capable of doing some of the things flowery does and possibly capable of killing him is relevant for something. ralsei already had reality warping because they can re-arrange rooms in the castle and create objects (in the dark world) from nothing (example)

→ Dude, you gonna leave your slice half-eaten?
→ Um, I... I'll deal with it when we leave the room!

well, I suppose none of that is super useful for versus stuff because they don't use any of it

After chapter 5, who would everyone rank as the strongest characters?

My list would look something like this (taking every character at their strongest):

1. Flowery/Ralsei:
   • Flowery has the Omega form which makes him one of the strongest characters physically, and also has fake statistics to give him “maximum stats”.
   • Ralsei is heavily implied to have similar abilities to Flowery and is likely more powerful, though we haven’t seen them yet and we don’t know how he compares to Omega Flowery, so I ranked them relatively.
2. The Roaring Knight: Narratively should still be stronger than Kris, and is implied to have some weird mechanics-manipulating powers though we haven’t seen much of that yet. SAVE file shenanigans won’t help much against an enemy that might be too strong to beat at all at this point.
3. Kris Dreemurr: Relative to Omega Flowery without fake stats, and also has the SOUL and SAVE file shenanigans.
4. The Chapter 4 Titan/Pink:
   • The Titan has insane durability and endurance, and is basically unkillable unless you have SOUL light shenanigans thanks to regen.
   • Pink is invincible in comparison to the Chapter 5 Gang making her overall better stats-wise than the Chapter 4 Titan, though since we don’t know if Pink is truly invincible I’m not sure if she’s as unkillable as a Titan.
5. The Hammer of Justice: Way faster, stronger and a better fighter than most characters, though other characters either have hax that make them almost unbeatable without a massive stat gap, better stats than Gerson, or both. We also don’t know how durable he is.
6. Susie: Self-Explanatory.
7. The other Flowers: They’re all relative to each other and can fight against the Chapter 5 Gang, though I don’t think they’re as strong as the Gang individually.
8. Queen/Thrash Machine: With GIGA Queen she’s immensely superior to the Chapter 2 Gang, but weaker than the Knight and should be weaker than a Titan. The Thrash Machine is relative but slightly inferior.
9. Noelle Holiday: She’s gotten massively power-crept at this point in the story, but her Weird Route self is way stronger than Spamton NEO who is one of the strongest characters in the first three chapters, so I’ll place her here for now.
10. Tenna: Stated to be fragile, but has a lot of abilities plus one of Rouxls’ cards.

I didn’t include characters who are potentially powerful but with largely unknown details or who haven’t even been properly introduced yet, like Friend, Gaster, Eram, Seam, or Rouxls Kaard. While Ralsei’s true power is mostly unknown, he’s compared to Flowery so he has enough going for him to make an educated guess.

Obviously not everyone thinks the fake stats do anything. If I ignored the fake stats I’d move Flowery and Ralsei down to either below the Titan/Pink or below Gerson.

4. Titan/Gerson:
-- Titan has the an INSANE durability to the point that even L4 Fun Gang needed the SOUL to make real damage + regeneration.
--Gerson maneged to heavily crack the Titan shell (?) something that not even L4 Fun Gang could do. Is described by Seam to hold a strenght enought to defeat us without much trouble.
5. Pink/Yellow: Strong compared to LV5 Fun Gang, but Seam mentions that compared to Gerson she/it shouldn't be a challenge to defeat. Yellow can one-shot us (lol), is fast enought to protect Blue from our attacks
6. Susie: Same as you.
7. The other flowers: Same reason as you.
8. Giga Queen/Trash Machina: Same reason as you.
9. Tenna/Noelle: Overral i would say that Tenna has the hax advantage and maybe the speed advantage, but Noelle was able to inflict A LOT of damage to Spamton Neo.
